Application Process 

Please be advised that the application process and timeline for apartments under the IZ/ADU program may differ from those that are not.

- After the application is submitted, the onsite team will start their 72-hour review before forwarding it to DC Housing. DC Housings processing time is 10 days and cannot be expedited.
- Move-in dates cannot be scheduled earlier than 14 days from the application submission date.
- The onsite team will confirm the move-in date once DC Housing has completed their approval process.

About Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) and Affordable Dwelling Units (ADU) 


Inclusionary Zoning units are designed for households earning between 50% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). For additional information, eligibility, and resources on IZ units, visit Department of Housing and Community Development's website. 

Affordable Dwelling Units (ADUs) are available to households within a specific income range, as defined by local restrictions. For details on availability, eligibility, and application processes, visit the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) website on ADUs.
